Eligibility (Educational Qualification)

~ You must have completed your 10+2 level education (similar to high school).
~You must have studied English as a subject.
~ You need a minimum of 40% marks in your qualifying exams.
~Standard 10+2: Science subjects are preferred, but not strictly mandatory. Vocational ANM: 10+2 with a vocational Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and a minimum of 40% marks.
~ Vocational Healthcare Science: 10+2 with a vocational stream in healthcare science from a recognized board (CBSE, State, or Central) and a minimum of 40% marks.
~Registered ANM: You must be a Registered Auxiliary Nurse Midwife.
~ Minimum age: 17 years old by December 31st of the year you apply. Maximum age: 35 years old.
~ SC/ST candidates have a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement. Other reservations may apply based on your state's reservation policies.

Selection Criteria

~ Completion of 10+2 or Equivalent: You must have passed your 10+2 (higher secondary) examinations or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
~ Minimum Marks: Most institutes require a minimum of 40-50% aggregate marks in your 10+2 exams. Some may have a separate minimum percentage requirement for English.
~ Subjects: While science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) are often preferred, some institutions may accept other streams as long as you have studied English.
